  • Workflow designer
  • Forms designer
  • Report designer
  • Decision table designer

HTM5 has been around for several years now, and most modern browsers have been upgraded to support HTML5.  Today, FlowWright supports all available major browsers:

FlowWright's workflow design, for example, is at revision 3 and as more powerful UI libraries are made available, we consistently redesign and rewrite our workflow designer to take advantage of this newly available HTML5 functionality.

So, what does HTML5 deliver for FlowWright and users?   HTML5 as implemented in up-to-date browsers offers valuable new enhancements, such as:

  • Support for new tags to improve rendering
  • Higher performance
  • Local storage
  • Newer, expanded Javascript APIs
  • Native rendering of graphics
  • Improved animation
  • ...much more

Importantly, the above features are supported natively, without requiring any kind of plugin.  For example, in the old days, Flash or Java was required to render rich animation, but now HTML5 offers simple to complex animation within the browser itself.  CSS and Javascript also have become more powerful thanks to HTML5, for example animation can be performed through use of CSS alone.  (For fun, our FlowWright login page, for instance, has spinning cube that uses CSS and HTML5 without any Javascript code.)

As HTML5 has matured and been adopted by browsers, FlowWright has also adopted HTML5 and is continuous improvement to similarly continuously modernize our product.  This is one of the ways we take advantage of general technology advancements to improve and expand FlowWright's capabilities!
